Basil

Basil is one of the most popular fresh herbs in Kenya, prized for its fragrant green leaves and versatility in cooking. Grown naturally in Nanyuki, our basil thrives in warm climates and brings a touch of freshness to every kitchen.
You can use basil in sauces, teas, soups, and salads. Beyond flavor, it is known for its digestive and anti-inflammatory properties, making it both a culinary and wellness essential.

Rosemary

Rosemary is an evergreen herb with needle-like leaves and a distinct woody aroma. Our farm-fresh rosemary grows well in Kenya’s highlands, making it easy to supply locally.
Perfect for roasts, breads, and infused oils, rosemary not only enhances flavor but also supports memory, circulation, and overall wellness.

Parsley

Parsley is a bright, leafy herb that adds freshness and color to your meals. Locally grown in Kenya, our parsley is harvested fresh to bring the best flavor to your table.
It’s commonly used in soups, salads, and garnishes, and is also rich in vitamins A, C, and K. Parsley promotes kidney health, digestion, and boosts nutrition in everyday meals.

Chillies

Kenyan chillies come in a wide range of colors and heat levels, from mild to fiery hot. Our sustainably grown chillies add a bold kick to any dish.
Rich in Vitamin C and capsaicin, chillies are not only great for spicing up meals but also support metabolism, immunity, and natural pain relief.

Hibiscus Roselle

Hibiscus Roselle is a tropical plant with deep red flowers traditionally used to make hibiscus tea in Kenya and around the world. Our hibiscus is carefully grown and harvested to retain its vibrant color and nutrients.
Hibiscus tea is packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants, known to lower blood pressure, aid digestion, and refresh the body. Roselle petals are also used in jams, syrups, and natural health products.

Thyme

Thyme is a hardy herb with small, aromatic leaves that thrive in sunny gardens. Grown sustainably in Nanyuki, our thyme brings natural flavor and health benefits straight from farm to table.
It is widely used in soups, meats, and marinades, and is valued for its antiseptic and immune-boosting properties, supporting respiratory health.

Sweet Peppers

Sweet peppers, also called capsicum, are colorful, crunchy vegetables grown in Nanyuki under sustainable farming practices. We supply green, red, yellow, and orange peppers full of natural flavor.
They are perfect for salads, stir-fries, and stuffing, offering a family-friendly, non-spicy alternative. High in Vitamin C and antioxidants, they’re as healthy as they are delicious.

Coriander (Dhania)

Coriander, or dhania, is a staple herb in Kenyan households. Our fresh coriander leaves and aromatic seeds are grown under eco-friendly practices, ensuring premium quality.
The leaves add freshness to curries, stews, and sauces, while the seeds are used in spice blends and teas. Coriander supports digestion, detoxification, and overall gut health.

Mushrooms

At Blooming Acorn, we specialize in cultivating fresh button mushrooms and oyster mushrooms, two of the most popular varieties in Kenya. Our mushrooms are grown sustainably and harvested with care to ensure premium quality.
Both types are rich in protein, fiber, and essential minerals, making them a nutritious, low-calorie superfood. Mushrooms are versatile in cooking — perfect for soups, stir-fries, sauces, and traditional meals — while also supporting immune and heart health.
